The Ranchhod Foundation undertake a number of charitable causes in New Zealand, with a focus on the aiding of children in need. As such the Foundation provides regular donations to the Starship Children’s Hospital with the direct purpose of supplying equipment for life threatening conditions, such as foetal blood pressure monitors and medicine measuring electronic devices.
The foetal monitors, blood pressure machines and medicine measuring electronic devices are used in the Newborn Intensive Care Unit (NICU). We had the pleasure of visiting NICU and were absolutely overwhelmed at the care provided to the premature babies struggling to survive.
