At some point, as we grow older, we all need a little help dealing with life’s issues. This is especially true for the older people migrating from all over the world. The added barriers of different languages and cultural backgrounds can create a feeling of exclusion and isolation, which in turn, can lead to depression and mental health issues.
The Ranchhod Foundation are excited about our new alliance with Shanti Niwas Charitable Trust and to be part of the Shanti Niwas Emergency Housing Project. The Foundation will be providing emergency shelter for senior citizens from the Indian and South Asian communities who are in an abusive or unsafe environment, or in dire need of emergency accommodation, and assist these seniors to lead a good quality life by providing them with the required support services.
